Fantastic video. With these uploads, the film will never be lost, even when the originals are un-playable. Great work.

Sadly i dont know.
They do not mention the number of the boat nor the name of the commander.
Which isnt unusual as this was usually kept secret from the public and with that also from allied intelligence.
It is obviously a type VII-C , five of which were sunk in the carribean sea but this does not necessarily mean that it was one of them.

Thanks for uploading a moment from history, Celeon. As one who has long been fascinated by the valiant and tragic U-Boat arm, this has been an interesting vid.

Very interesting movie about the U-boat and how they worked. Kinda like Silent Hunter III only if more options were available.
