My husand and i are swimmers, we are thinking to buy our own wet suit and snorkeling tools instead of rent. but we never did snorkeling before, must we take snorkeling training in order to snorkel?? doest it required special skill to snorkel?? this will be our first time to catalina island as well, i have no idea where to start to snorkel, is it going to be far from the beach? do i have to rent a boat in order to go to a snorkeling site? and how is the transportation on the island, within walking distant or must rent something? i’ll also appreciate any price information on transportation/boat rental on the island.
